Naomi Giancola is the founder of the Period Dignity Project, an organization seeking to make free Period Products accessible to as many people as possible. Naomi started the PDP after being accepted into the first cohort of the Mountaintop-RIVET Fellowship. The first PDP Period Pantry opened in February of 2025, and in the month that it has been active, it has distributed nearly 1,500 Period Products. Right now, Naomi relies on donations from the community to support the PDP, but is hoping to apply for grants to be able to expand and put up more Pantries.

In addition to running the PDP, Naomi works as a Data Scientist for an economic mobility non-profit, America Needs You, and runs a small data consulting business. When not working, Naomi likes to play soccer and read feminist fiction.
